OVERVIEW:
Mo's Bagels is the quintessential breakfast spot in Aventura and has been for as long as I can remember. It really is as close to a genuine Manhattan deli that South Florida has. You almost certainly will see a line for tables, especially on a Sunday morning. There is abundant seating, and therefore, the queue will move fast, so don't despair. That also means you're sure to run into about 862 people you know if you've lived 'round these parts for any signficant amount of time. The waitresses are quick and competent. They'll almost assuredly get your order correct, but they won't stick around to make small-talk. Too many other tables to get to. The food is excellent, somewhat pricey, and abundantly fresh. A breakfast platter of any size (with a coffee refill or three) will leave even the heartiest eater feeling more than sated. Especially in consideration of the giant serving of complimentarty crumb cake that will be placed before you upon arrival. Mo's also has a phenomenal dessert counter (think all of the memorable pastries your parents brought home in red-stringed boxes during your childhood).
