OVERVIEW:
A very praiseworthy restaurant at the Aventura Mall. To the point that it can only be considered "underrated." It continues to baffle me that folks will wait for a table at The Cheesecake Factory, which is right next door, rather than eat here. The only plausible explantation can be the name recognition of the former restaurant. Rosalia Trattoria's is part of the family that owns and operates Bella Luna, which also is in the Aventura Mall, and Carpaccio, at the Bal Harbour Shops. And the quality is almost as good at Rosalia's as those other two. My only nitpick is its unwise decision to station a young woman at the main entranceway to try summoning passersby inside for a meal. Amateur? Extremely so. The menu features what you would expect -- lots of pasta, plenty of pizza, and an adequate selection of fish and meat. Sitting outside at Rosalia Trattoria's on a cool evening or afternoon is delightful. The service is excellent, as plenty of staffers will ensure your table is continually bussed and you never want for anything. There is a list of wine and beer, but lack of a full liquor bar is somewhat of a minor drawback.
