    » Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in journalism, communications, PR, or related field. Minimum 5+ years writing for the mass media. If interested, please submit between three and five writing samples with your résumé.
    » Skills: Excellent writing and grammar skills; high level of motivation; attention to detail; while experience writing for online publications is desired and will prove to be an asset, it is not essential or required; familiarity with social networks and online marketing will also be beneficial, although it is not required.
    » Responsibilities: Devise story ideas and generate content for AventuraBusinessMonthly.com homepage; cultivate relationships with South Florida's social, philanthropic, and business leaders.

  • Sales Executive
    » Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, communications, PR, or related field. Minimum 5+ years selling for a magazine, newspaper, website, or radio station.
    » Skills: Ability to prospect and cold-call; ability and willingness to set up in-person meetings to present media kit and other sales material; proficiency at conducting needs analysis; ability to engage clients as you cultivate relationships quickly and effectively; highly organized, independent, resourceful and diligent.
    » Responsibilities: Establish contacts/leads within the Aventura and South Florida business community; attend on a regular basis networking functions; identify clients' needs and cultivate effective sales strategies; contribute leadership toward corporate goals through your experience and work ethic.

  • Web Developer
    » Qualifications: Undergraduate degree computer programming/science or related field. Minimum 5+ years working consistently in Internet publishing. Please be sure to include a list of all websites on which you have worked or have built.
    » Skills: Ability to write and develop code for dynamic web applications; advanced knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Flash Action Script; strong understanding of SQL and data modeling, must possess the ability to write and debug advanced SQL queries; familiarity with Adobe PhotoShop and/or Illustrator; must be highly detail-oriented and possess creativity in problem-solving; must possess the ability to work within a team environment and to communicate effectively.
